Melanie Benda

Melanie began practicing yoga at the age of 16.   Since then, she has completed a 200-hour Anusara Teacher Training under the instruction of Naime Jezzeny, Sue Elkind, and Melanie Smith.   She has also taken various workshops with John Friend, Sianna Sherman, and Dr. Douglas Brooks.   Her training included Asana, pranayama, meditation, therapeutics, and yoga philosophy.  

Melanie's focus is on aligning the body, mind, and heart, allowing students to strengthen their personal foundation and deepen their practice.  Her class centers on asanas and meditation, including proper physical alignment and developing inner and outer strength.   Click here for her class schedule.
